An Interview with Barry and Gayla Gordon, Authors of Scientific Shamanic Healing
“The sociopathogens in our body politic are trying to convince us that their inhuman nature is our ‘human nature’.” — Swami Beyondananda
What our friend and colleague Caroline Casey calls “the dementors of doom” seem to be able to access the inner psyche of the masses to create fear, suspicion and chaos. “Thanks” to the work Edward Bernays began a century ago (Bernays, the nephew of Sigmund Freud was known as the “Father of Public Relations” and wrote a book titled simply “Propaganda”) those who wish to program our minds to serve their own ends, now have more sophisticated ways than ever to do so.
No wonder so many people who can envision what Charles Eisenstein calls “the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible” are disheartened and alarmed by “the more ugly world” the current political order is making possible.
Our guests this week, Barry and Gayla Gordon are lifetime students of consciousness, energy medicine, and our true human potential. Barry is a physicist, metaphysicist, Feng Shui Master, senior Buddhist teacher in the Tibetan/Chinese Bon tradition, and advanced Energy Psychology coach. Gayla Gordon is a creative visionary, Feng Shui master, Sufi Cheraga, Doctor of Divinity, “minister of mirth” and advanced Energy Psychology coach. They are world travelers, who have studied and immersed themselves in a variety of spiritual traditions. Barry is a former US Navy officer whose near-death experience as a diver transformed his life, and has given him the tools to help others with PTSD.
This enlightening and empowering conversation will not only offer insight into our current political crisis, it will offer us creative ways to take advantage of the opportunity. You’ll also discover ways to re-program your own “hidden brain”, resolve inner conflicts and move beyond hopelessness and helplessness to find your own purpose and power. You’ll also gain insight and perspective as to how to “respond” to current events rather than “react” to them.
Someone once said that all politics is personal, and someone else said, “the personal is political”. This conversation will prove both of them right.
If you’re ready to empower yourself in challenging times, please join us.
