The #METOO movement enabled women to acknowledge and share stories of sexual abuse. The movement has moved mountains of dismissal and denial, not to mention ending the careers of several notable serial predators. And … now what?

Now that the stories are revealed, how do women heal?

Keeping in mind that the definition of healing means “restoring wholeness” how do those traumatized become whole again? And … how do we heal the whole story, the thousands of years of dominate-or-be-dominated culture? How do we acknowledge the discounting and oppression of the feminine, and the price we have paid for it? (Hint: Our dominator species is about to weave itself outside the web of life.)

Our guests this week, Misa Hopkins and Stephanie James have brought together teachers, healers, therapists, and other wise luminaries in an online summit called Women Emerging: Reclaiming Our Souls from Sexual Abuse. The intention of the weekend is to “Go from surviving to thriving with this unique psycho-spiritual approach to healing from sexual abuse and permanently remove abuse patterns from your energy field.”

Misa Hopkins is a pioneer in the field of Feminine Consciousness and is a 5-times bestselling author. Her life is dedicated to the personal and planetary healing that comes with balanced consciousness. She has appeared on major television networks and has spoken at events with such luminaries as Deepak Chopra, Arielle Ford, Dr. Tom O’Bryan, and me! Misa is the Director of the News Dream Foundation, currently sponsoring the event, Women Emerging: Reclaiming Our Souls from Sexual Abuse.

Stephanie James is a psychotherapist, a dynamic public speaker, and published author with nearly 30 years experience in the mental health field.  As the host of The Spark radio and podcast, she has interviewed such luminaries as Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Larry Dossey, Dr. Rick Hanson, Dr. Jacob Lieberman and me. She is the creative visionary and host of The Spark Summit, a gathering of today’s thought leaders in the areas of psychology, spirituality, and science, designed to help people break through limiting beliefs and behaviors and live their best lives.

If you are in the process of healing from sexual trauma – or know someone who is – you’ll want to tune in.
