We have at least two 501(c)(3) organizations we are considering as “fiscal sponsors” to allow to accept tax deductible donations, but there it will take time and some expense to complete the compliance forms, develop a budget and a plan, and form an advisory board. This means, our initial funding will have to be seed funds that are not tax deductible. In that regard, we are now launching an informal “crowd-funding” campaign to get through this pre-launch process.
