My Spontaneous Evolution co-author and colleague, cellular biologist Bruce Lipton, has described humanity’s existential choice this way: Conscious evolution, or mass extinction.
My cosmic comic alter ego Swami Beyondananda tells us, “Either there will be an awakening, or there will be a wake.”
Seriously and humorously, we have a “shituation”, and that is why I – and a consortium of co-hearts – am launching the Great Upwising. Through a new podcast, a weekly “Signs of the Upwising” heartening post, and a library of Conversations for Co-Creation with evolutionaries and solutionaries, we are offering four simple steps to help our species take the evolutionary leap from “dominate-or-be-dominated” to “we’re all in this together.”
A four-step program, mathematically proven to work three times faster than 12-step!
Those steps are: Wake up … Wise up … Grow up … Show up:
Wake Up to the delusion of separation, and how we have been tricked into fighting one another
Wise Up to the power of love and coherence and to the spiritual truth now being confirmed by science – evolution is about cooperation and collaboration.
Grow Up from children of God to adults of Good, and grow upward in wisdom so that we become a master of technology, not its servant
Show Up on a new playing field ready to play a new game – thrival for each and all
Imagine … a living, loving, learning community to help us cultivate the awareness, purpose and practice to achieve our true human potential, and live in harmony with the web of life and web of love.
Sounds utopian, but one of the great visionary philosophers of the 20th century, R. Buckminster Fuller put it this way in one of his book titles – Utopia or Oblivion. In other words, if we want to avoid going to hell in a hand basket, we must be able to imagine and live into “heaven on earth.”
